  • Add a persuasive elements
  • Make key call to actions more visual
  • Break up text on page where possible into bullet points

Introduction

Simplify the headline, “Put your compassion to work as you earn an associate’s degree in nursing and prepare for your licensure exam. Options include immediate employment or transfer to a four-year college. We also offer a LPN to RN bridge program.”

Add introductory text above the section titled “Jump To: and beneath the image header:

About the Program

Re-title the About the Program section “Information Sessions” – it’s clearer

Add a subheading titled Accreditation and move related content under that heading. It doesn’t feel closely related to the content in Information Sessions.

Get Started section

Consider making these pathways more graphical and give them more visual weight on the page

Student Testimonials

Include a testimonial from a graduate of the program that reflects how the Pierce College program has influenced their career path in nursing.

As a gardener, I often reflect on how editing and producing content on a website is similar to gardening. Both require a keen eye for order, a willingness to discard things that aren't working, and an interest in how things change and evolve over time. A poorly kept garden may sometimes seem like a vast and untenable amount of work with no clear end point in sight.
